When we arrived, we tried to order an Aperol Spritz, but what we received was just a bottle from the grocery store. It wasn’t an actual cocktail, yet they charged us $14 as if it were. I recognized the brand—it was nothing but chemicals and sugar, without any real prosecco or Aperol. To make matters worse, the waitress had the audacity to claim that it was more authentic than a traditional Aperol Spritz. Having been born and raised in Italy, I can assure you that a pre-made mix from a bottle is far from authentic. I then ordered a $14 Negroni, which was served in a tiny 4 oz glass filled with ice. I finished it in a single sip. I understand that prices have gone up with inflation and times...
Came to this cozy little Italian restaurant as a group of 5 for a late lunch. We all ordered different pizzas and their special of the day. I personally ordered the classic Margherita pizza with roasted garlic as an add on and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was done just right and the garlic went so well with the pizza. The service was impeccable and I loved the cute decor of the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back to try their pastas and their tiramisu as they looked so good!
Not very special about the place or the food quality!!Although staff are so good at marketing!! ?The point is, after many years tasting Italian cousin, I failed to find anything special about the quality of the food in this place.Staff are relatively good.Nothing very special about the atmosphere.Despite what I mentioned above, which is my honest feedback, I 'll continue my support private business /restaurants like Farina a Lenga .There is a lot of room to improve their quality.
This charming little Italian restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food is fantastic. As someone with celiac disease, I appreciate the good gluten-free options they offer. However, I wish the pasta wasn't made from chickpeas, as it doesn't quite feel like authentic Italian cuisine. There are plenty of excellent gluten-free pasta alternatives available from local Italian stores these days. I'm also looking forward to the possibility of gluten-free pizza in the near future! Completely blown away buy this place. Went to buy their dough after 5 or more failed attempts at making pizza from home. The nicest lady who sold me it went to the back and asked the chefs cooking if she could spin out a dough and gave me a personal lesson!! This is small business at its finest and huge shout out to her and this place ?
This fantastic restaurant was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our week in North Vancouver. Everything was incredible! The pasta was fresh, and the proteins were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Dining here made me wish I could come back every week!
A small space that is frequently full with patrons. Best to reserve a table; however, we lucked out with 2 spots at the bar with views of the kitchen and pizza oven. The cavolo nero (kale salad) was my fave on this visit.
Such a lovely taste of true Italian flare! The rustic thin crust pizzas are just so authentic, the toppings delicious and zesty, and the burrata appetizer board a must-have! What an amazing landmark in North Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
