I have been wanting to take my husband here for quite awhile. Honestly, this was going to be his treat, he loves home style BBQ fare. Let me tell you, The food was amazing, we started off with a pound of wings, I had the chophouse melt with of side of chili and hubby had the pit special with a side of maple sweet mash with pecans. We could not finish it!! I am usually not big on this style of food, but it was honestly decadent! I want to give a shout out to our server Ashley who made our first (but surely not last) visit to Faboys so enjoyable! Keep up the great work you guys!
I was asked by Kathryn Schafer to come down and try the food as I'm a bit of a home chief myself and she was impressed. The staff was fantastic and the service quick and with a smile, not to mention the amazing food!!! WTF the pulled pork best I've ever had suggested by Kathryn and my side a potato salad my mom would have been proud of again suggested by my serve Dani . I will definitely be back to try the whole menu.
My boyfriend and I were hungry and we could smell the delicious food for blocks! Being Canada Day, we knew we would wait awhile to get in but we got together with 4 strangers and the 6 of us shared a table, some drinks and great food! Service was outstanding and the chicken and ribs were amazing! This restaurant has now become our number 1 spot when visiting our nation's capital! Thank you!!!!
My husband and I visited last night and haven’t stopped talking about the food! On recommendation we ordered The Kentucky Derby and were not disappointed! Just enough smoky goodness without overpowering the flavour of the meat. The cornbread was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Our server and host were attentive and very, very helpful. I've been there a few times and my bar tender Jordy even remembered the beer I had last and asked me how I liked it and if I wanted to have it again? We are in Ottawa for a hockey tournament and Fatboys was recommended to us. They were able to accommodate 36 of us last minute when no one else did. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and funny as hell. We will definitely return and recommend to others.
Incredible service and food! The owner Shawn was so welcoming, his staff were incredible! Our server Ashley was awesome, and hilarious!!! and the food! The food was to die for!!..stumbled on this place walking around Ottawa!..best find ever highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Fantastic place!! Great service and OMG the smell when you open that door.....amazing. Had the pleasure of sampling quite a few items. All of them were off the chart! We loved the ribs and the wings The service staff was very nice and helpful. The decoration is very well dine and the overall atmosphere was excellent. But the best is the ribs!
