Fatburger is one of those so so places that if your friends suggest it to you during a day of shopping your not going to have any objections but at the same time it's likely something you would not actively seek out on your own. The burgers here are good although the patties I find are a bit on the thin side. They come out very flavorful thankfully and in all my times eating here I have never had an issue with a burger being overdone. They always seem to have fresh ingredients as well which I can appreciate as runny tomatoes and wilted lettuce are big sins in my book. I was excited when I saw that a Fatburger was moving into City Center, despite having previously never been to one. When it finally opened, there were lines out the door every day for a couple weeks. Once the lines died down, I decided to give it a try. A couple of friends and I come here once every couple of weeks. We are bigger guys and the booths here are terribly uncomfortable. On that alone, I should be giving this place a 3 star review. However, the food and service earn back points. First, the food. I typically get a small cheeseburger with the works (a preset list of several toppings). Just about noon on a weekday and I thought this place would be packed. It wasn't and we were able to snag the last U booth, although there were still tables available. I didn't want to have a meal leaving me too full before a meeting so I had a turkey burger with no sides. We waited about 10 minutes for our meals, and my friend got his beef burger before mine. The turkey burger had cranberry, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. It was tasty but not amazing and usually they put too much mayo for my liking. I should have asked light on the mayo. Located near the 3rd floor food court in City Centre. My wife had the bacon burger. She felt the burger was good but not as good as the Fatburger in Lethbridge. They don't have gluten free buns in this location. Good choice for a quick burger.
Not memorable and not bad. Fries were ok and food was filling. If I am in the area and hungry I would order, but for the price prefer so many other places like burger priest and A&w even.
