Perhaps we had set up the restaurant for failure in our minds after checking out their website and seeing how good the food looked. Due to that we made reservations and drove out to HMB. Upon arrival we were a little surprised at what the restaurant actually looked like, dining tables set up the the left and sports bar like atmosphere to the right. Kind of a twist we did not expect but thought ok, lets get to the main part, the food. We ordered the grilled octopus, and it tasted more like it had been boiled, as it didn't have any crunch or char taste to it as we had expected. Three of us enjoyed dinner on the terrace along the walkway. The service was good, and the food was excellent. Half Moon Bay boasts several great Italian restaurants, but this one stood out today. The beet salad was a prime example of how to elevate a classic dish into something exceptional. The chef did this with nearly everything we ordered, even putting a fresh spin on the bruschetta, which is a classic. Our meal was on the pricey side at $75 per person, but the quality of the food was superb, and the presentation was excellent.
Food is tasting! If you want good service take a table!..I set at the bar, bartender busy all the time he miss my order twice, I order the spaghetti whit clams and Calabrese Chiles and broccoli..,and he bring me the linguine whit meat balls and later the spaghetti whi black squid sauce prawns mussels and clams I eat what hi bring me for the second time!! but the bartender did hes best to give me good service,
we were on this place on the birthday of my wife august 2022, great choice. we ordered seafood to the table. it was a great selection of shellfish and a beautiful whole fish, calamari plus my favorite scallops meerte perfect. we ordered a supplement broccoli, which was unforgettable. you want to drink, they have it. I had a lambrusco. I love this place. the lady who served us was very helpful.

The food was good the service not so much. The hostess was not very communicative. When we asked for something she would literally just walk away without response and never follow back up. We went two evenings in a row as we were staying across the street, once for pizza to go and once for dine in, and received the same from her both nights. Not sure if we would return if in the area again...
We enjoyed an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. We started with the beet salad and the butter lettuce salad, both of which were excellent. The pappardelle pasta was the best we’ve ever tasted. We also tried the prosciutto and burrata pizza, which was outstanding. Our server, Carlos, was incredibly attentive and considerate. I highly recommend this restaurant!
What a fantastic experience! After a nice walk, we drove to this Italian restaurant for lunch. If lunch is this good, I can only imagine how amazing dinner must be. The staff made friendly recommendations, and they were spot on. The flavors were exceptional, and everything was cooked to perfection.
We spent New Years Eve at Fattoria E Mare. Our 5 course meal was relaxing, exceptionally creative, and delicious. For example, the dessert, a chocolate molten cake was surrounded with spun sugar and set on fire! You can see that creativity flows freely at Chief Pablo Estrada’s Fattoria E Mare.

Amazing dining experience! We had a wonderful Sunday night. We ordered the Margherita pizza, truffle potato gnocchi, salmon, and some drinks. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!
There was an insect in our food!!!! absolutely unacceptable. no apologies Doesn't deserve 1 star I definitely recommend it if you like to eat insects.
