Fatz Cafe - Tisch reservieren

We arrived around 3 PM, so the restaurant was pretty slow. We were promptly seated by a friendly and efficient server. Given the menu options, it's clear this place isn't focused on healthy eating (after all, it's called Fatz), so we decided to indulge and ordered some lunch items that showcased their specialties. The pork chop was freshly cooked and delicious, and the grits were among the best I've ever had. Their sweet potato casserole would make for a fantastic dessert. The portion of popcorn shrimp was quite generous for a lunch serving and they were very enjoyable. The fries weren't as crispy as I prefer, but they were still well-prepared. The cole slaw felt a bit like an afterthought....

My wife, who is from Orangeburg, and I were in town for business, and it's disappointing that the food options in the area aren't better. Regarding the food, I ordered a baked potato, and I must say it was quite tasty. My son enjoyed his burger, but the salad with chicken was just average. The kitchen seemed to be struggling, as the fryer was malfunctioning, resulting in baked French fries instead. The rolls were about the size of meatballs, which was unusual. However, our server, Jeremiah, was a highlight of our experience. He was very helpful, attentive, and friendly, which made the visit more enjoyable. Overall, he was the only bright spot of our meal.
