Ordered the Shepard pie with a side salad. Very disappointed. The salad was drowned in dressing, limp, and tasteless. The menu describes the pie this way: MS ground lamb, peas, carrot, leeks, fresh herbs, mashed potato crust Meat was cooked okay. No peas. No leeks, The mashed potato top was luke warm, with no crusting or evidence it had even been inside an oven. May have been an instant potato mix. The dish needed salt, no shakers in sight (Covid precautions). I wanted to ask for salt but no one bothered to check on me until I get up to leave. Sooo glad we passed through Jackson on our way back to TX and got to stop here. We came at 3pm, so it was slow and our waiter was so attentive and made great menu recommendations. The curry, ruben on rye, and 'sausage mash ' were absolutely fantastic. You can tell the cook put careful attention into the food. He also cooked it in no time. Would love to come back here next time at night to hear the live music. Super cozy/cool, hole-in-the wall environment.

Fantastic food. Great pub vibe. Competent and friendly staff. A wonderful Jackson institution. Popular for lunch and dinner. A wee bit high on the drink prices, but a lovely selection of specialties.
Food was amazing as always, and as usual the service was excellent. We all had the limited or special hamburger of the month, haven't been disappointed by any of them so far, nor do I expect to be.
Remember to dine and relax at Fenian’s . This place is just special . A great getaway for lunch. Who else has fried saltines . And a poblano marg ?! Go. Don’t put it off . What a menu.

Yum! Again, it was yummy! Potato-Leek soup was heavenly, mac n cheese brings a gourmet taste and Shepard’s pie was classic.
First time going but won't be the last! Food was excellent! Service was friendly and fast!
