The story I'm going to tell you, happened last August. After several hours, lost in the distant Sarladian country, I dreamed only of respite in a warm place. This is how my road crossed that of Jean Luc, charming child of the country, character in great heart, colorful. Beyond his unique welcome and epic tirades, his very present prestance and his host talents touched me in the heart. A certain taste for the good and beautiful things that he cares for him, no doubt, to share. I enjoyed the way in which tradition came to meet a Dada spirit, borrowing from the ready made, and making this farm a charming and captivating place. Traditional and good quality cuisine, apart from the fact that management will not change its dishes (e.g. removing garlic) to adapt to the tastes of its guests. It was my wedding meal, and I, the bride, could not eat anything from the evening because Mr. owner was terrorized to ask his mother to remove the garlic from one of the many sarlada potato dishes (among other things)... On the same occasion, the owner is a very despicable person who points out any negative comment left for his establishment, thus leaving only the public's glimpsed comments. We are a group of hikers (30), we were welcomed in a very warm way to the estate of Montalhieuhaut. a stay in a very beautiful nature, very spoiled side meals, delicious, homemade with tasteful products and making us discover the local gastronomy. Our host was particularly cared for and caring for our well-being. In summary a beautiful Weekend with excellent value for money
We were looking for an authentic place to discover the Perigord and we were not disappointed this is the Ritz but we knew it with no surprise. The welcome is very warm and our host (very welcoming) feru of history what we had come for. For meals, nothing to say quality and quantity are at the rendezvous. I strongly recommend this place for its authenticity and reception.

Very good menus for very affordable prices. Mr. Calmon's mum's sarladas potato is exceptional. This gentleman is a character that we don't forget thanks to his sympathy, his welcome more than friendly. Overcoming his passion and knowledge of Prehistory material will leave you without a voice. In short, I recommend this place that you will not forget.
A stay of a very pleasant week in Montalieuhaut or the setting and views are magnificent. The owner's welcome is warm and friendly. We spent a week quiet and enjoying the beautiful swimming pool that was very appreciated by all! The accommodation was spacious and pleasant, we really enjoyed this dislocation and tranquility, we highly recommend it!
A beautiful setting with a very warm welcome and recommendations of practical visits! The cottage is simple but well done. We should just review the bedding (bed and mattresses that we reported when we left to the owner) which are a little tired but it didn't stop us from spending a great week with the family. The estate of Montalieuhaut is a very pleasant and relaxing place. The reception has been more than satisfactory: the owner of the place is a charming person, benevolent and attentive to the pleasure of his guests, especially at the time of the rich and tasteful meals. The sarladaise specialties are honored with the fact-house!
