Haven't been to in a long time. Was looking forward to it since it is a hike to Ardmore. Unlike past visits I had some concerns, but the beers I did try were good, but I wasn't overly thrilled by the recommendation in what was called a great beer. In the tap room I had the Sticky Drippy Crystals which is a Wildflower Honey Saison. The tartness overtook any of the honey which I was looking forward to. Also, I question if such a tart beer is truly a Saison. However, it was still a tasty beer. The other beer I had was the DDH Oblivex which is a double dry hopped double IPA. I recently revisited this restaurant for the first time in a while and was impressed with the quality of the burgers, fries, and the mushroom hoagie. The main beer shop that longtime fans used to walk to has now been moved to the Fermentaria, conveniently located in the refrigerator with a great selection. I was disappointed to see that the menu had been reduced since my last visit, especially missing the roast chicken sandwich. However, overall it was a fantastic experience. I tried the milk casting from trendler dark, passion fruit milkshake IPA, and desire filling, all of which were fantastic.

If you have the chance to visit a brewery that is making waves in the world of craft brewing, don't miss out. Tired Hands may not have invented the milkshake IPA, but they are definitely among the best at it. I tried the lychee and double vanilla milkshake IPAs and they both exceeded my expectations. Visit this place, try their beers, you won't be disappointed.
update: they now clearly mark vegan and vegetarian options on their menu. the veggie burger is now vegan and really good. the first is the best craft beer in the state. the hummus, the salad, banh mi veggie wrap cauliflower tacos are all vegan by design per executive chief. bier is great.
This restaurant is a great spot for a happy hour or hanging out with friends! You can easily place your order from any phone. I especially enjoyed the blueberry pancake IPA and one of the mellow IPAs. The pommes were a tasty side dish as well.
The Fermentaria is open for in person dining again which is awesome! It was great be back. Still a great atmosphere, with excellent food, and fantastic beer. You can check the website to see what they have available to go before going.

The Milkshake IPA is amazing! Food wise, best fries ever and the mushroom grinder was delicious. Very crowded on a Saturday night so plan to enjoy a beer or two while waiting for a table.
Amazing food and delicious beers! Sydney behind the bar is an absolute legend! 10/10 recommend.
