Sadly we were disappointed with our meal. We walked in and had no clue you can walk in and seat yourself. There were a few groups waiting to pay and the host couldn't really see us until it was our turn. We waited for quite some time before our order was taken. We kept an open mind nevertheless. When the meal finally arrived, and it looked good, we discovered that the chicken was very bland in both orders (flautas and quesadilla). Zero flavor. I really loved this place! An exceptional place that left me totally surprised and with a very good taste in my mouth, the warmth of the service of all the staff is one of the things that will make me visit Fiesta Mexicana again. Delicious 100% Mexican menu, the decoration of the place makes you feel at home and the variety of dishes. Honestly the food is fantastic, with some original dishes you won't find anywhere else as well as traditional dishes prepared in original ways, but the service just about cancels that out. The owner is very personable and loves to visit tables and talk food, but unless he is there no one will welcome you or look happy to see you. Drinks are delivered with the food if at all, and not before. In more than a dozen visits I can't recall anyone checking on us during a meal. Husband routinely orders two drinks because he knows he won't get another. The food is delicious and original from Mexico City. The Quesadillas, Tacos, Pambazo, Sopes, Enchiladas, Flautas are our favorites. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the waiting time to get our orders. It has been from 30 to 45 mins average but today 9/15/2023 it was over an hour. Other tables were served before ours. Some got their food within minutes. I love to come because I’m from Mexico and the owner used to live where I was and there was a connection. I hope the “preferences” with certain people won’t happen and the waiting time gets better. It will be a while for us to return. Best Tres Leches cake I've ever had in my life. Made me debate on if I want their tres leches for my future wedding. The quesadillas are amazing, love that you can get each one with a different filling. The owner was present, greeted us warmly and had a short very friendly conversation with us. I love that.
