I've been there a couple of times before and had a fantastic experience, from the food to the drinks to the service. However, this time I was disappointed to find that the food wasn't fresh; the avocado in the rolls had dark spots and looked old. I invited friends along and didn't want to cause a scene, so I just pushed the avocado to the side. Perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen staff, but I would be embarrassed to serve food like that to my guests. I don't think I'll be returning.
Food was average at best, small portions and way over priced. There was almost no rice in their sushi, I bet on purpose to make you order more. I dropped over $100 for just my wife and I but was still hungry so I had to fix myself something more at home. Service was slow and disappointed they didn’t offer a small birthday dessert for my wife like an adjacent table received. View of the ocean is really nice and the only thing positive.
Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The sushi is fresh, and the service is outstanding. I recommend pairing some of your dishes with Larsen. The bread from 6100 is locally sourced and fresh, and the butter is simply divine. Kumiko is an exceptional waitress.
Really expensive for what you get, snooty staff, and they confuse you snd make you pay for water by asking you if you want “still” or “sparkling” lol Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is the hidden sushi gem in Laguna. Great view of the water. Super fresh fish. Good prices. Small and intimate. The black cod starter was unreal.
Location is beautiful. Sushi was really good, steak not that impressive for the price. Next time I will stick to sushi. Definitely coming back.
Always exceptional; Chris is an amazing sushi chef. The location and sunset view are unbeatable, and our server, Kimmy, is truly a pleasure!
