Unfortunately, not the experience it was hyped up to be. Looking past the Christmas and video game music that was playing, for me it was how the server handled the cold steak I received. The other two guests that were with me had a perfect plate. My ribeye looked like breakfast ham and curled up a lot on the sides. I will agree that appearances don’t make the steak, so I overlooked that, but when the steak wasn’t even room temperature, I politely asked the server to take it back. Absolutely worth every penny! Located at Hollywood Casino in Saint Louis, the atmosphere is spot on, and the music playing is what I believe to be 60s jazz. The freshly baked rolls they serve are light and delicious. We started with a Beef Wellington, if I remember correctly, and we were blown away by how excellent it was. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, just the way we wanted, accompanied by an amazingly tasty baked potato. Her white cheddar mac and cheese was wonderfully light and seasoned just right. This restaurant is only open two nights a week, Friday and Saturday. I visited on a Saturday night around 7:30, and the place was nearly empty—about 90% vacant with hardly any patrons. The host, who had long, unkempt hair, told me, “Hey man, we don’t take walk-ins. You need a reservation.” I pointed out that the dining room was almost completely empty on a Saturday, but he seemed indifferent. I found it rather rude that he kept referring to me as "man" instead of "sir." Now I understand why The Final Cut doesn’t attract many customers.

Steak was incredibly added to the lobster dick, but Jason really made this experience worthy! From his incredible experience of wine and sites we should be worth the whole trip to his incredible music playlist he made. Food and ambience were worth the money, but Jason took the cake in our opinion. 100% recommended.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The menu is very limited, and the drinks were not enjoyable. It doesn't even come close to Charlie Gitto's. I would have preferred to eat at the Hop House or a burger place instead. Save your money!
