We had a wonderful tour of the coffee plantation and an absolutely stunning lunch. It's amazing to see so much pride and passion of the people running this place for what they do. I was expecting somewhat of a commercial operation but it was instead a homely and a very welcoming personal experience from Don Andres who still gets up at some crazy hour in the morning to look after his coffee plants and animals. If you are in Jardin, definitely spend time to visit this place and, to get a truly local experience, take a local scheduled Chiva bus to bring you there!
My 77-year-old dad and I have been traveling all over Central and South America for the past two years. This, by far, it was one of our favorite tours/trips we have taken so far. Every single person we met was so friendly and so welcoming to us. Even though the tour was in Spanish, which my dad does not speak, I was able to translate for him and we had such an incredible time. The food and coffee just made the day even better. An absolute must if you are in Jardin. Don Andres and Dona Angela are so warm and welcoming and definitely know coffee which has been part of their family for three generations. Our visit to Los Angeles has been the highlight of our Colombian trip!!! Oh and make sure you stay for lunch as it was delicious and made up of fresh and organic ingredients from their farm. Incredible experience and coffee tour with a family owned coffee business. Super informative and showed us the whole process of making coffee. Strongly suggest as the entire area, house and tour is incredibly insightful and very calming. They also have a place to stay the night if you’re interested ! Amazing! Don Andres is one of the most genui e people I've ever met. So much passion , love , devotion and a lot of hard work. Grate hospitality and warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely this is a place you must visit if you are around. Thanks to Don Andres and his wife for welcoming us so warm.
Had such a wonderful time with this knowledgeable man! We were warmly welcomed by him and his wife and went through the full process of coffee harvesting and making.He explained everything in detail and I learned so many new things! Muchas gracias!
One of the Most Beautiful places in the world, a sunset, a walking tour of the finca, a 5 star dinner and the best coffee served by Mr Mrs Giraldo. If you ever want to visit Heaven, this is the place to be!
