I came here because it was on the service road and just made scene at the time. However who says convenience equals satisfaction? Parking wasn 't the best at Chiquito Deli nor was the look of the dated façade. Going inside it didn 't get better, the place was small and the food smelled good, only, the good smell was the only complement I will give the food. Once at the counter the man, who wasn 't very friendly, took my order. I asked for chicken, sausage, and macaroni salad. He did his job and tried to up sell me on rice, but I quickly refused. I ate tonight at the Café Gio. It’s not that far from the SpringHill Suites as the crow flies but walking was a little distance. This restaurant is very nice!!! My server, Christina, was the BEST!!! Very nice, super personality, extremely attentive to my culinary needs, very knowledgeable about the foods and specials of this place!!!!! I loved her….she was great!!! She recommended I have the Portabello Mushroom for an appetizer and it was the best….then I had Veal Marsala and it was so tasty and it was a huge serving. Throughout our meal, the waitress appeared to have an attitude, rolling her eyes and acting unprofessionally. The only friendly staff member was a short woman with a stylish diva/rockstar appearance. A man came by and asked if we wanted bread, and although we said yes, he never brought it out to us, while other tables received theirs without issue.
It felt like everyone, from the staff to other customers, had an issue with us being the only African American patrons in the place. The looks we received were shocking. I will not be returning, and I would recommend that fellow African Americans consider dining elsewhere.
The bake clams had soggy water down bread crumbs no taste.The fried zucchini was terrible all mush.Lobster Ravioli with scallops baby shrimp in a creamy pink sauce,the sauce was so watery,the shrimp was tough.I did not remember the scallops,the few ravioli itself was good.But the drippy sauce ruined the dish.The Scarpiello had ground up sausage meat my husband who never complains said never again to eat there.Our garlic knots,our coffee carrot cake were good.Service was excellent,its a shame food was not good.

The next day, after realizing the bill was much higher than expected, we called and then visited the restaurant in person to address the issue. We found out that we were overcharged for the wine—it was supposed to be $9, but we were charged $12. To our surprise, the waitress also added a $28 tip to the bill without informing us, meaning she received a tip on top of her tip. The owner only refunded us $28.
Needless to say, we won’t be returning.
I was excited to try the Cafe Gio pot roast because my husband had enjoyed it a few nights earlier. Unfortunately, when I got there, it was unavailable, even though it was still on the menu. I decided to go with the Veal Marsala instead, but it was very disappointing. The meat was tough and overly salty. The pasta on the side was just as bad; the red sauce tasted like it came from a cheap can. I won't be going back again!
We enjoy stopoing by Cafe Gio foe a slice or two. Their pizza is delicious and the service is good. Also have a pizza special!
Friendly people but needs updating. Floors and furniture didn’t seem clean and sauce was bland. Good specials though
