If you’re reading this, you might be wondering what a New Yorker knows about BBQ. Well, I originally hail from North Carolina (Go Heels!), and I’ve found it quite challenging to discover a good BBQ spot. However, I can confidently say that Finks is phenomenal. We visited on a Saturday and were fortunate to be served by Jason, whose service was impeccable. The food was bursting with flavor, and the meat was so tender it literally fell off the bone. We also tried a few appetizers, and the wings (smoky BBQ flavor) were definitely one of my favorites. Delicious food, wonderful service. They had run out of the baby back ribs (get there early! but the combination platter is not to be missed. Skip the greens if you don't like them really spicy, but definitely try the pinto beans with pork and garlic, the Texas-style potato salad, and the beer cheese (hint: pour it on your french fries. Just plan to atone for your caloric sins at the gym for a few days following your visit!
This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had! The end cut beef was so tender that you hardly needed a knife. The BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy, perfectly balanced. The coleslaw was also one of the best I've ever tasted. If you're looking for authentic BBQ, Fink is definitely the place to go!
I finally discovered a local barbecue restaurant! I've ordered takeout from here twice, and each time it’s been a satisfying meal to enjoy at home. We ordered two different combo plates along with some sides and an appetizer. The portion sizes are generous, so we were able to take some of the delicious leftovers home. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. This is a place you must try—don’t hesitate!
The food was delicious! We tried the ribs and chicken, and both were very good. If you enjoy spicy greens, I highly recommend ordering them. The corn soufflé was tasty as well. Our server was attentive and really helpful.
