First off, I?d like to say that food wise, Fire was fantastic. I had the hanger steak and my girlfriend got the meatballs. Both were delicious and I wish the portions had been larger. They give you a good amount of food, I just could?ve kept eating thesteak forever, it was that good. We also started with the caesar salad, was delicious and a good size as well. For dessert wehad the apple crisp which came topped with a ginger ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and a good way to finish themeal. Our adult children from out of state really enjoyed the food they ordered, but the time between ordering and being served was very long. When I asked our server about it, she apologized and explained the delay was because of a new menu that evening. I would think the kitchen staff would have had it down pat before serving it to patrons. The delay, however, allowed us to have a conversation because earlier diners cleared out and we could finally talk at our table and be heard. Excellent Caesar salad accompanied with individual spoons of capers,egg, bacon, red onion. So darn delicious. Rib eye steak was phenomenal.... We do not eat too much beef so this was a real treat. Opah fish special was a little too rare for me but husband really enjoyed it. Great wine choices yummy bread with olive oil. Waitress was very attentive and friendly smile. The owner/chef visited every table and took personal interest in our experience. What a thoughtful touch.
I went for Sunday brunch, and the place was bustling, but the service was quick and friendly. The cocktails were fantastic, and our table enjoyed the food overall. My only concern was the pastrami hash I had; the meat was a bit on the crispy and dry side. However, given that the restaurant was packed and there seemed to be only three chefs in the kitchen, I can't really complain. I would definitely return!

This restaurant boasts an excellent location for quality American cuisine. It's a fantastic spot to meet and chat with colleagues. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable given the generous portions. The menu reminded me of a café in Boston that I really enjoyed.
Brand new menu starting today. Our group had Vegan Cauliflower Steak, Fish Stew and Pompano. All were excellent. For sides there was asparagus and garbanzo fritters, also excellent. Doug Katz is top of the line. A bit pricey but wonderful food plusexcellent service for a special occasion.
The American cuisine at this restaurant is excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful. The food is incredibly tempting. I've consistently had great experiences here and intend to return often. The food and overall vibe remind me of Kansas City.
We have eaten in my restaurants in the Cleveland metropolitan area over the years and have found Fire to be consistently excellent. The ambiance, food, and service are wonderful. Look forward to returning for another good meal.
