Major disappointment with my most recent experience. I've been eating at Fire Engine Pizza Co. since it's inception. This past Sunday my family and I ordered $180 worth of food for takeout. I live roughly 30 minutes away, so when we finally got the food home we were really bummed out to find long black hair in the fried mozzarella. We immediately called to address this problem, and we were assisted by the poster child for bad customer service on the phone. A lady by the name of Cadence was awfully rude and dismissive. The food was delicious. We stopped in before a concert for dinner and the waitress was great. We ordered an eggplant dish, but they didn't have it so they swapped it out for us for another eggplant dish. The portion was very generous so I asked if we could just share the one dish. The other serving hadn't made it out of the kitchen so she allowed it. We drove 4 hours from New York so we weren't planning on having leftovers. I went there today with my two kids and we ordered two large pizzas—one with half pepperoni—a Sprite, 20 buffalo wings, and two cocktails. The total bill, including tip, came to about $100. This used to be my favorite place for wings, but the ones I received today tasted like they were leftover from the previous day and even had feathers on them. I sent them back, and while they did provide more, we only managed to eat a few because they didn’t taste fresh at all. The pizza was decent, but the preparation was lacking. My waitress was friendly, but my table was sticky and had crumbs in the crevices, and the furniture was quite worn. Overall, I left feeling a bit disappointed.
We held a private event and were extremely impressed by the amazing service from the team on the day of the party. They handled everything flawlessly and made sure everyone was happy with their delicious pizza. The personalized attention and exceptional party coordination were top-notch! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guests raved about the pizza, the variety, and the Italian ice cream—it was all served hot and absolutely a 10/10. This is an excellent spot to relax with family, friends, or colleagues. The staff takes customer service very seriously. The atmosphere is cozy and makes you feel right at home. The food truck was a HUGE hit with our son's birthday party! They were easy to work with beforehand, super punctual, fast to set-up and the food was top notch!
