Let me start off by saying the food is authentic and does taste really good. It feels like a well done home cooked meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am only giving 4/5 starts because of a number of other issues. There is very minimal dinning space is in no way set up for groups over 4 people. Also, if you do intent to come with a number of people, call ahead of time. They seem to be low staffed and it took a decent amount of time for us to receive our food. We go from Fire Pit Grill every day to and from work. I decided to try the food. The food was AWESOME we meet Steve the owner, he is so pleasant to speak. This is a fantastic restaurant! I wish I could visit Bayville more frequently. I went there on Saturday, September 17, and ordered the whole chicken plate with rice and beans. It's always a pleasure to chat with the owner, Steve; he truly embodies class and has such a passion for his food.
Hands down one of the tastiest restaurants in New Jersey! The owner, Steve, is also the nicest and so hard working! (Plus he cooks GREAT! We love coming here and ordering out, we do both very frequently as a family.
Definitely the best Portuguese food round. The amount of taste that everything is crazy and its good portions and cheap for how much food you get. He's so good or better than the food in the north.

Steve makes an amazing BBQ chicken with rice, Spanish fries! The food was excellent! I just ate it and I’m thinking of when I’m headed back haha! Enjoy!
