As someone from Asia, I have high standards when it comes to sushi and sashimi, so finding a place that meets my expectations can be challenging. After discovering this restaurant, I've made a point to visit it every two weeks. I've sampled a variety of dishes, including sushi, maki, rolls, and noodles, but the Chirashi stands out as the best of the best. It comes with a generous selection of fresh and plentiful fish toppings. Today, I ordered Chirashi, Regenbogenmaki, and a mixed dish through Uber Eats. The flavors are consistently delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chirashi at this restaurant!
I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant! I regret not checking the Google reviews beforehand. The fish was not fresh, with the salmon appearing black and the sashimi lacking flavor. The prices are steep for such low-quality food. The aioli I ordered was overly sweet and only came with three pieces. They even included carrots, which felt unprofessional. To top it off, they automatically added an 18% tip despite the poor atmosphere and subpar food. This experience certainly wasn't worth the $80 I spent.
The night I moved to Boston last fall, a friend and I ordered delivery from Fish Market. Just moments later, my friend found himself stuck in the elevator of my apartment building. While we waited for the fire department to rescue him, our sushi delivery was stolen! We called Fish Market, feeling upset, but they were incredibly kind and understanding. They sent us a replacement order for half the price. They truly turned us into lifelong customers! I can't recommend them highly enough.
My favorite sushi restaurant in Boston! What I appreciate most about the sushi here is its high quality and constant freshness. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the excellent quality provided. Whenever I'm in the mood for top-notch sushi, this is my go-to spot. My favorite dishes include Chirashi, the avocado ball, and the roasted green tea ice cream.

This used to be one of my favorite spots several years ago- coming back to it recently was a treat. I was expecting things to be tired, and, while things did look different because of the pandemic, the food was tasty as usual. Avocado ball is a must, and all of the rolls are super tasty. Portion sizes are definitely a little stingy, but I’ll let that one slide for today.
Amazing... the best hidden jewel in Allston! It's so easy to miss because it's tiny. The chef's love for his food came through for us, not just in the pride he took while serving each dish (yes, we order half the menu) but mainly the attention to detail and the unique interpretation to modern sushi. Really great quality fish and one of the only places in Boston I?ve seen that has raw scallop sashimi and nigiri! I usually dine in but decided to get takeout for lunch and it was still amazing! This is the sushi/sashimi lunch combo and 3 pieces of scallop sushi and 1 salmon.
