The food at this restaurant is still excellent, but unfortunately, the service has drastically declined. We waited a long time for a server to even come to our table, and they did not check in to see if we needed more drinks or clear our table. The kitchen, however, was efficient in getting our food out in a timely manner. The servers seemed to be preoccupied and not attentive to us or other tables. At one point, we noticed four servers chatting near the hostess area instead of attending to customers. I had to approach the hostess to request a server for our table. The food was outstanding; exceptionally delicious. However, the noise level was excruciatingly loud. We needed to shout to each other all night even though we were sitting close. Even with shouting, one friend checked out and just ate, apologizing and saying he couldn't hear anything we were saying. My voice is hoarse today. Unfortunately, we will not recommend and will not return. We treated our friends for their 60th anniversary but we probably should have left and found a quieter place. Owners might want to consider acoustic tile in the ceiling and turn off the music in the bar which only adds to the extremely loud conversations when it's that crowded and busy. I took my son out for Mother's Day to Fish for a nice dinner, as I had never been there before. Unfortunately, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, our service was slow and communication was a bit of a challenge. We ordered two appetizers to start and then shared an appetizer and an entree for our main course. The bread we received was not edible and the grilled octopus was overcooked and sour. Despite these disappointments, the Mediterranean Sea bass was beautifully cooked and delicious. However, the mussels were inedible and had to be sent back. Overall, we left feeling disappointed after spending a lot of money on very little edible and enjoyable food.
Reserved table 26 four days in advance. Called to confirm that day and was assured that the table we reserved was, in fact reserved. Got to the restaurant right on time and another couple were at the table I reserved. They offered another table. They know how to take reservations; they just can’t keep the reservation! They lost an excellent customer that night. Never again. We went to Kotobuki for sushi and were treated like royalty! That’s our new spot! BYE FISH!!!

Everything was excellent as always! Love the curry, muscles, and the tuna flatbread!! First time we tried tempura shrimp and they were very good!! My husband always gets the whole fish Seabass blackened with the curry sauce... Only complete he had the fries were crispy enough. They were too soft. He asked for extra crispy, but they taste good and he ate them all!! I believe our servers name was Andrea Blonde Curly hair) She was very atentive to all our needs.
Always have great food here. Lots of very healthy but delicious options as well as more comforting options. The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection and I love having the julienne of vegetables very tasty and again, healthy. My vegetarian friend loved her main course too. Service is warm and efficient.
Unfortunately, I am saddened to announce that my favorite waiter, Gustavo, will no longer be at Fish. He was truly the highlight of my dining experience there. I will definitely be visiting him at his new location in Rye. Watch out, Gustavo, I'll be there soon!
Quiet table was an option, for easier conversing. Ambiance was nice. Lots of choices for fish (type, cooking style, crusts, sauces, sides) but our choices were not amazing, just good. Service was kind and attentive. A bit expensive for ok food.

Took 40 minutes before a waiter came by to even notice that you were sitting there. handed me a hot bowl of soup instead of putting it down on the table not flexible with their dessert choice. Just not good service all around
