To make matters worse, the food we ordered wasn’t up to par either. At the end of the night, we tried to address our concerns with the owner, only for him to accuse us of lying about our obstructed view. When I suggested he sit in our spot and see for himself how two tall men blocked our view entirely, he dismissed our complaints. He then offered us $10 as compensation, which was the difference between general admission and VIP seating. In the end, he threw $40 on the table and seemed indifferent to our experience. When I mentioned I would be leaving a poor review, he shrugged it off, saying we weren't the first to complain. This was not the kind of response we expected from a new owner, and...
Although the prices are somewhat high, the food and drinks were excellent. The dirty/Cajun rice was particularly amazing, and the wings were also very tasty. However, I was a bit disappointed with the two bands that performed. The Facebook ad mentioned that cover bands would play Latin American rock, but both bands only focused on Mexican rock. This might be fine if you're primarily familiar with that genre. On the plus side, I really liked the unique bar-style tables designed for couples; I had never seen anything like that before!
It's a great spot for all ages with three different venues. The outdoor seating is a blast, so there's no need to reserve a table inside; just head outside instead! If you can, arrive early and grab a seat on the patio for a more enjoyable experience, and the food is just as good. The bartender is fantastic—definitely try the K Pop drink! I live in Arizona, but my son is in Chicago, and we will definitely return to Fitzgerald’s. The music is absolutely amazing!
Fitzgerald's is a charming little spot in Berwyn, IL, known for its focus on live music. I had the pleasure of seeing Southern Culture on the Skids, and they never fail to impress. The venue consists of two buildings, each featuring its own stage, along with a lovely beer garden situated between them. In any case, you can count on great music every night, delicious and reasonably priced drinks, a vibrant crowd that knows how to have a good time, and friendly staff. I really wish you could experience this place, especially if you're in Chicago. Just imagine the drive! Anyway, I absolutely love Thursday nights here. It's definitely worth your time!
Fitzgerald's is now under new management and has transformed into an exceptional music venue featuring some of the best stages in Southwest Cook County. I would like to recommend LakeDrive to Fitzgerald's and need to get in touch with the band's manager or the person responsible for booking performances.
This bar has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The manager took a moment to say hello; all the bands who played were excellent; and the outdoor area allows patrons to enjoy the fresh air if they are like me and don't do well in enclosed, loudareas.
