First time here and it was fantastic. Host gave us a great table because it was our first time nice touch. Our server, Trinity, was the best. Very attentive and personable. We were joking around and giving each other a hard time by the end of the meal. We had oysters (amazing! and firecrackers shrimp (good but not great , scallops w/risotto (scallops were huge cooked perfectly , and the chimichurri steak (very good! . We’ll be back!
The special Mardi Gras menu featured blackened red fish, which has been hard to come by locally in recent years. It was beautifully prepared over a bed of collard greens, along with little red beans and rice. All flavors were perfectly balanced. Such a treat!
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner and cocktails last night at Chew Chew. We go there monthly and have various wonderful dinners each time.
