A popular opinion is that the food is too expensive, but to me, you get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a good thing. I don't get how an unseasoned burger can taste so good, it purely has to be the sheer quality of the beef and toppings. This is one of the ultimate guilty pleasure meals, in every way. The fries aren't crispy, they're soft and soggy. Yet absolutely delicious. No toasted buns here, a completely soft and wet burger, but damned if it isn't delicious. Unfortunately, they not only got it wrong once but twice. When I tried to clarify the mistake, the burger cook actually argued with me about how I wanted it prepared, even though it was clearly specified on the order. Overall, the meal cost between $30 and $50 per person and was marketed as lunch.
I have always been a huge fan of Five Guys, and I typically don't enjoy automated phone services, but I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent automated ordering system.
