We made and confirmed this booking weeks in advance of Christmas Eve. On the day we received an invitation to confirm our booking which we did. We arrived on time for our 8pm booking at Adelaide Oval Hotel 5 Regions Restaurant. The front of house had NO record of the booking. We didn’t exist and the restaurant was full. Turns out our booking was lost. Ok so now what? They found a table in the adjacent lower grade restaurant. They made a fuss of us and did everything possible to repair the damage. We had a lovely evening no thanks to Open Table. We will never use this booking service again. Truly appalling service. Thanks guys.
My wife, family, and I had lunch on Friday to celebrate my mum's birthday. Everything from the atmosphere, the food, the staff, the service, the wine, to the fine dining experience was excellent. We were also treated to a stunning view of the Adelaide Oval. The staff went above and beyond by personalizing one of the dessert plates to wish my mum a happy birthday, and she even received a complimentary dessert which made her birthday extra special. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy more of their amazing Sisig and try other dishes on our next visit. Thank you Hill of Grace Restaurant for the amazing experience!
We celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. This restaurant is truly exceptional. The only thing we would have liked is a bit more time between courses and the option to have coffee at the end. The view was also spectacular. A hidden gem in Adelaide.
One of the most amazing dinning experiences we've had. The venue was stunning , each dish that came out was like a piece of art which tasted as good as it looked. Beautiful food, four course meal and some beautiful surprises along the way, the staff, atmosphere and views just amazing and the chef taking time to come out and ask what our favorite meal was and talk was a special touch, thank you for making our wedding anniversary one I will always remember.
It was an amazing dining experience to enjoy the collaboration of two unique South Australian icons, Adelaide Oval and Henschke wines. Impeccable table service with extensive knowledge of other South Australian wines on offer. Highly recommend.
I must say, my experience at Hill of Grace for my 54th birthday was exceptional! The view was stunning and the food was bursting with flavors, fresh, and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant!
