I'm giving a 5-star review to this amazing Caribbean restaurant in the Bronx for its fantastic food and unbeatable prices. I enjoyed everything, from the flavorful curry goat, Rasta pasta and cabbage to the macaroni, yams, and rice and beans. Beyond the delicious taste, the standout feature was the wide array of side options available, providing an exceptional dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone.Parking: Parked 2 streets over
Flavas was excellent. The problem was Grubhub and lack of drivers.. Of course the time was pushed back 30min plus . I called the restaurant the food was ready to picked up. Just didn't have a driver So food arrived lukewarm not Flavas fault it was Grubhub not the driver but lack of driver. The driver was excellent and extremely professional. Not his fault Flavas had to delay my food because Grubhub don't have driver's.
The patty was good. The chicken outside was hard and soaked in sauce. Couldve been a little less. Cabbage was sweet but not terrible. I had more than a few spoons. The yams were A1. My only critique is for the chicken to be cooked lighted because nobody wants to break teeth on chicken. The sauce was 100% to my liking but it was still far from nasty.
My first time in the Bronx and I was hungry. Decided to use my Uber One deal and chose Flavas International Grill. Fast service and a small plate can feed two people. I enjoyed the Jerk chicken and Rasta Pasta the most. Definitely will be going to their Lounge when I come back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The portions were nice, as well as the seasonings on the jerk chicken and sweet potatoes. However, the collard greens weren’t cleaned properly and had alot of sand/dirt on them and who really wants to eat crunchy greens? And the mac and cheese was better with the jerk sauce.
Would be 3 stars, but the portions are huge so 4 stars.Taste is just A OK.A massive portion of curry goat, mac and cheese, collard greens, a soda and a desert for ~21. That’s solid price for anywhere and especially NYC.
5 star rating I always order the oxtail stew with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese for my side it is always fresh and I love the sauce and tender meat my favorite spot
The big oxtail was delicious but they were out of fried shrimp, so I tried the curry shrimp and it was just as delicious. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
