I recently had a wonderful experience at Flings Fried Chicken and felt compelled to share. I was craving their taters and decided to pick up some food for my family before work. Unfortunately, I forgot my wallet for the $60+ order. In a panic, I asked if they accepted e-transfer, but with no luck. Unable to go back home and return in time for work, I called my mom to come meet me. The owner saw my distress and offered to let me take the food with a promise to return and pay. I've been going here for a very long time and never had a complaint. Best chicken in the city hands down! Then a new owner came into play, whatever you're doing, keep it up! I still love this place and the new owner is doing everything to keep the same recipe. Don't change a thing. There is a reason why this place has been open for so long and you landed on a gold mine buying his business. I have lived in Windsor for the majority of my life, and since moving away ten years ago, one of the things I miss the most is the food, particularly the flings taters. I recently returned for a week and the first place I visited was Flings, and it was just as I remembered. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was excellent. The server even gave me tips on how to save money on future orders. I would highly recommend Flings, 10 out of 10!
I've been going to this place for the last 15 years....best taters I've ever had, the coleslaw is the best, and the chicken is awesome!! Looking at some other reviews, yes I have had chicken that was too dry once, but other than that it's always moist and juicy.One of those places, that if he ever shuts down the business, it'll be a major loss from my life...

I got their 5 Nugget lunch deal, they came with so much more food than I was expecting. The potatoes are delicious and the breading has a great taste as well as crisp texture. They also have House made barbecue sauce that pairs perfectly with the chicken and potatoes. Definitely recommend stopping in and giving this place a tryFood: 5/5
Bought several chicken dinners and a fish dinner. The fish dinner went right in the garbage. It was very heavy and had a rubber texture. Very disappointing. The chicken was ok but I have had a lot better. Will not be a returning customerFood: 1/5
My dad has to have Flings at least once a month for the potato wedges and gravy and 2 pieces...mom likes the dinner too so that's what we get with salad.....best of its kind....
