Flounders - Tisch reservieren

märz 2022: update back in newquay for work and again we found ourselves something normal for a meal in the evening! no choice really, a visit to flounders for some great eating and friendly staff. we were not let down, the staff is so friendly and everything was freshly cooked. I ordered a cod, big chips, spicy curry sauce and a baptism. I was stuffed at the end! really can not recommend this place enough, immerse and they will not be disapointed! also as a bonus they even took my company issued amex credit card! I added some new pictures below. original post: was in newquay for work and fed with the standard meal in Indians/Chinese etc., so we decided to have some fish and chips in flounder...

Genuinely surprised by the quality they provide here unfortunately cash only which is surprising this day and age but yeah They do a mild curry sauce and a spicy one similar to what we call Irish curry sauce just less sweet to what I'm used to if it's the spicy version Chips are very nice I would go again at some point

Huge portions and lovely staff. Chips were fluffy and crisp. Fish was lovely and crisp and not too greasy. It was however rather thin for haddock which normally tends to be slightly meatier, hence my rating. That said, very enjoyable visit.

We LOVE Flounders!!! If you get there and it isn't busy, you're in luck and you've done well, although even when rammed full, we've never had to wait to long. Delicious fish and chips every time. Never had a complaint.

Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of Scotland. Had such a laugh with the lady who took our order lovely staff. Would love to know what curry sauce you use as it was fantastic?
