I was born and raised in Queens so I grew up trying most of the West Indian restaurant's dishes, mainly their fried rice and lo mein. From bamboo garden, kaiteur, new thriving, Berbice bar, bamboo garden (one of my faves while growing up), etc; I have to say that this place has one of the best fried rice I've ever ate besides one of my aunts fried rice. Delicious food! I wanted to find West Indian takeout closer to me and found this little gem. I love that I didn't have to deal with the traffic of Liberty. Food was delicious! Had a lot of flavor and less oil than many other local spots. Had fried rice, chowmein, a lamb appetizer-all delicious. We ordered chicken in the rough and got a free slice of cake from the new management. Food was packaged so nicely that it was still hot an hour later. Will definitely be back here for takeout. Ordered Mac Cheese Wings. They sent the wings and a note saying no mac and cheese and did not issue a refund. You’re supposed to call the customer and tell them that what they ordered is not available. How you gonna send me half a meal and charge me full price ? I would have ordered somewhere else if I knew they didnt have mac and cheese. Now it is late and many of the places are closed. Very unprofessional.
I highly recommend caribbean food hut. The food is amazing and delicious. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I had fried chicken with french fries beans and rice. And I also had j chicken with fried rice. The food is amazing. Thank you caribbean food hut.

This Hole in the wall Mom and Pop shop is just about the best Caribbean restaurant in queens, Come in order your food have a drink while you wait. Awesome
Really nice place, way better that I thought. Food was good, music was good, has a pool table it's just a little small but I was fine with that.
The service was good and the food was GREAT. I had the chicken fried rice and jerk chicken wings. I am looking forward to returning.
