From the service to the atmosphere Ford+Shep is a great restaurant in the downtown area of Greenville. But let me speak about the food. I was able to enjoy the bison bacon meatballs with an exquisite pesto sauce. My dining companions both had fantastic meals as well. Pork chop marinated in sweet tea and the melon salad with added grilled shrimp really made the meal perfect for all. Oh I almost forgot. We started off the meal with their cheese board. All of the samplings were amazing. If you were visiting from out of town like myself this is definitely a must-stop. Atmosphere is great. Service was prompt. We got up and left however after seeing the sparse over-descriptive menu and the very high prices. Gave the food a one star as we never got to try it. Advice: lower the menu flair, increase the menu choices and lower the price by about 50%. They also do not offer menus at the table. Just a card with a QR code to pull the menu up on your phone. This restaurant is fantastic, offering an exceptional culinary experience that is truly remarkable. If you find yourself in Greenville, NC, make sure you don't miss the chance to dine here. Everything is top-notch! The elk tenderloin and pan-seared red snapper are outstanding, and the small plates, especially the tuna, were delicious. The bar is great, and the staff, along with the chef, are incredibly attentive and friendly.
Went here for wife's bday 8/2. Dined inside and it was loud, couldn't carry on a conversation without talking very loud. Food was tasty but paella was soupy and dripped on my shirt. Ordered a malbec by the glass and it was tasteless like it had been open for days. Our server replaced it without issue. This was the 3rd time we dined here and not up to previous two times. The food is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. The menus change regularly, so I always enjoy visiting their website beforehand to decide what to order. One of my favorites is the Tuna Tartare Brussels Sprouts! You really can't go wrong with their recommendations either.
