Forest Hills Station House is a fantastic bar in Forest Hills! They boast over 15 beers on tap, which are showcased on a screen displaying each beer along with its remaining quantity and a brief description. Although I'm not a big whisky fan, their selection is quite impressive and offers a wide variety. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a bar. I ordered the jerk lamb dogs, accompanied by pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and hummus. As someone with Caribbean roots, I was thrilled with how well the lamb was prepared! Came here after it rained with two friends, my wife, and a baby. The staff was very accommodating by wiping down tables and chairs for us to sit outside. The service was very quick, the food was great, and the staff was extremely friendly. One thing that caught my attention was that they ran out of one dish my friend wanted so he asked the waiter for a couple of minutes to look at the menu again. Usually, servers will forget about you, but they came back quickly (not too quickly! to take my friends order. Will definitely come back here again.
This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, along with an enjoyable cocktail menu. However, I recommend avoiding it during concert nights, as it's right in the way of the subway and LIRR heading to the stadium. Unfortunately, the service tends to be slow more often than not. I've encountered inedible dishes several times, like an extremely hard Bavarian pretzel.
Super dope place. I've been here a few times. I enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. Customer service was impressive, everyone was super nice. You need proof of vaccination along with identification, sitting in indoor spaces. It's super nice and cool here. I highly recommend it. This spot is simply awesome. They have many beers on tap of different varieties which change periodically. Their cocktails are carefully and methodically crafted. Service is always exceptional. Now with plenty of outside and indoor seating options, TVs behind the bar to see sports. The food is solid too. Love to come here for the poutine!
The cocktails were a bit pricey for the quality. They were good but nothing to write home about. The food was slightly upgraded bar fare but tasted great. I loved the rock music and the wooden decor. Definitely had a great vibe.
Bar in Forest Hills. Great bar so many draft beer and different cocktails. Bar food is not bad. This place is amazing for game night or just to hang out with friends and family.
