So I have been eating at this bar/restaurant many times and about once a week. I would order something out and eat it at the bar, while having a few drinks. I have asked permission many times and never had an issue. We had a nice meal at Formaggio a couple of. of nights ago. The food is solid comfort food mostly Italian with burgers and seafood. It's not fancy but everything was cooked as ordered and tasted great. My pappardelle was terrific; DH enjoyed his chicken Parmesan even though the pasta was cooked a bit past al dente. They are clearly short on staff but the staff they had did yeoman's' work. Carlton seated us with a warning that it would take 10 20 minutes to place our food order. We decided to walk to this restaurant since we didn't want to drive, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The service was fantastic, and our waiter, Damion, was outstanding. I tried the bruschetta, which is a unique take on the classic. It arrived warm from the oven, accompanied by a drizzle of honey for the crostini. I also enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad with chicken, which was perfectly dressed and very tasty.
They don’t answer the phone on a normal day at 730. This restaurant is dead. No one around to take orders. If you do get food the burger has so much sauce junk you take one bite and it comes out the back. No good. Just get Uber eats and save the trouble. If you’re lucky enough to get someone to help you they have terrible service and food that’s basically like Sbarro.

The menu online was not the menu offered when we arrived. Although the steak was cooked to order, at $42.00 the cost was a little steep. The lasagna spaghetti was listed on the on-line menu (it was wonderful the last time I had it) it was not on the menu when we arrived. The seafood salad was excellent. The crab dip was good but a little salty
The food and service here are excellent, but the restaurant is currently undergoing renovations. There is a limited menu at the moment, so I wouldn't recommend visiting until the main dining area reopens. Additionally, the layout is not very practical.
I love going here for Thanksgiving. The server with blond hair was excellent. I only wish there was a more traditional meal for Thanksgiving. The mushroom ravioli was quite good. I regret not ordering a salad with it. We will be back during the year!
The Eggplant Parmesan was one of the most disappointing dishes I've ever had. I would consider giving it another chance, but wow, it was tough and lacked any redeeming qualities.

Grossly over charged me for a bottle of wine was advertised for 100 but charged me 150. OMG. What a grand disappointment. I plan on filing a complaint. Minus 5 on my rating !!!!
I have an allergy to msg and they were very careful to accommodate me. My food was delicious!
