Is everyone else dining at the same place? To be fair, we liked this place a few years ago. We stopped coming because the man cooking the bread/pizza kept sticking his hand into his pants to adjust himself. We heard he wasn't here any more so we returned. Not a single dish on the table was good, and two were barely edible. Both pasta dishes were over-salted and the marinara was so sour/acidic, it almost seemed like it had gone off. I kept passing by this cozy little place for 6 years . I always wanted to try it out , specially after looking at the pictures of the different pizzas. Today my daughters wanted Italian ! This restaurant is fantastic! Whenever I visit, the funghi pizza is cooked perfectly every time and pairs wonderfully with the alla marc salad. I often find myself craving these dishes. The staff is always extremely kind and goes above and beyond, which I believe is because it is a family-run business. My only complaint is that it can be a bit pricey, so I can only indulge occasionally. Additionally, the hours for pickup/delivery on grubhub are more limited compared to when the restaurant is open. Despite these minor drawbacks, I give it a 5/5 rating as it truly is a hidden gem. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed!
I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. I was craving Nutella Pizza, so we searched multiple restaurants until we found this gem. The waitress was fantastic and made the Nutella Pizza fresh for us, and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The bread basket was also fresh and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, making me feel like I was having dinner at someone's home. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

Enjoy the food but the mussels are ok and the cheesecake is just bad it has no flavor and not even the strawberry sauce could accompany it and it should not be on the menu and it doesn't make their food look good, but I never liked tirramisu until I had theirs.
Delicious Oven Pizza (Thin crust) Fresh Baked Bread (kushy and bit salty and that's me) Calm You are cozy atmosphere (maybe I am not busy there) BYOB (Liquor shop and beer shop near). It's a good neighborhood to go. I'm back.
The food and service at Forno in Maspeth are excellent, the place is casual and laid back but the food is phenomenal. This is definitely one of those places that you can try each dish and truly be satisfied.
Went here with a few girlfriends for a little reunion and we had such a good time. The food is so good! The calamari and tiramisu are absolute must haves! Will be back again. Neighborhood gem!

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The chefs are excellent, the staff is friendly, and it is a must-try. The desserts are absolutely delicious.
Neighborhood local place serving Pizza panini's and very delicious entrances. The Cavatelli Bolognese was good, but rather too salty.
