The food at this restaurant is outstanding. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the flounder to the oysters and shrimp, every dish was incredibly delicious. The sides, particularly the greens, were among the best I've ever tasted. The desserts, all made in-house, are fantastic—we tried the strawberry shortcake and banana pudding, both of which were delightful. The dedicated staff here truly knows how to prepare an excellent seafood meal. I will definitely be returning!
This was my first experience purchasing from this market, and it will certainly be my last. The person outside was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I returned to my car, I noticed a bad odor coming from the bag. Inside, there were dead crabs mixed with a few barely alive ones. The smell from the dead crabs was unbearable. We ended up throwing the entire bag away because it was so bad. I am very disappointed; it was nothing but a waste of money!
Make sure you receive hot fish because my son ordered hot fish and was served cold fish. He had to go back in for them to correct his order. And the staff are not very attentive when placing orders. It is not the customers duty to check if food is hot and fresh. Fish should never be served cold....period. Therefore I will not be utilizing their services in the future. Makes for bad business.
Great fried catfish and the collard greens were as good as grandma's. The sanitation grade is very respectable too. Service was slow and advised that my order wasn't received and had no record of name of the person whom placed the order..and paid for via phone call. Careful stepping to leave the counter area..a little slippery.
