Don't go. The foods not good and expensive for what you get. $17 for 4 small prawns (about the size you get on pizza) on a bed of wilted lettuce no dressing not even a chunky of lemon, that's right they didn't add the lemon as it would have made the prawns looks smaller. The other tapas plates where very plain and lacked skill with cooking. No surprises that the food came out quickly. That was a good thing however we could then walk up the street to eat a hamburger and chips. Don't go.
The food was alright, but the portions were too small. We ordered 6 tapas for the two of us, and the friendly waitress assured us that it would be enough. However, all the dishes came out at once instead of staggered. While the food was tasty, it was not enough to satisfy us and felt more like an expensive mixed appetizer. We ended up leaving the restaurant still feeling hungry.
I'm a local and go to forty five 51 on a regular basis! Especially love to go when Sarah Woods is singing because her voice is captivating! Always great atmosphere! We enjoy the tapas especially the crumbed mushrooms and chicken tenderloins, great value! It's such a fun loving atmosphere when everyone joins in and has fun and get up and has a dance!
If I could have given this a higher rating I would have. From the moment we stepped foot in the door we were treated like VIP guests. The manager went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. The food was AMAZING and the entertainment was incredible. If you are visiting this part of QLD you MUST give this place a go. Can't wait to come back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I often visit 4551 on Saturday nights for tapas, drinks, and live music, and it's always a great time. The tapas are consistently delicious, and while I haven't tried the main meals, my friends have and enjoyed them. I highly recommend this place if you're in Caloundra and looking for a fun night out with good food and entertainment.
The food is fantastic and the cocktails are strong, ridiculously pricey for the small portioned meals. There was a customer there..a friend of the owners I'm assuming after there very long personal chat, he kept coming up to us interrupting us while we were eating, didn't seem to bother the owner but it ruined the experience.
Staff attentitive and friendly but unfortunately my crispy belly pork and feta rocket salad wasn't "crisp ""and was cold inside ! Obviously a frozen piece deep fried. After complaining,wasn't charged for the meal which is fair enough Will give it another go Fingers crossed
we loved the live music and tappas style food, a larger selection of alcohol would be great. good atmosphere and friendly staff. this is located right next door to nice accommodation so it was perfect Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Love going to Forty five 51 for tapas! Atmosphere was great and the singer awesome. Food and service is always spot on and wine prices are reasonable. We will be back!!
