Fosters Freeze is our favorite spot for ice cream! My son absolutely loves the large Oreo Twister, while I can’t get enough of the large half-and-half cone. I especially enjoy when I reach the cone and the ice cream has softened just enough to blend the flavors together perfectly. They have an incredible selection of delicious items, and everything we've tried has been fantastic. You need to visit immediately! As a side note, I recently tried the Triple Berry Cheesecake Twister, and it was also amazing. If you find yourself in Torrance, make sure to stop by!
This is a classic establishment that serves ice cream like no other. Today, I tried the strawberry cheesecake parfait, and all the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The strawberries in the jam were so vibrant that it felt like they were homemade. The service was excellent! The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because it’s on the pricier side. I can appreciate the high-quality ingredients they use, but I don’t think my parfait was worth $12.50!

Although the parking lot is small, there's ample parking available in the peaceful downtown Torrance area.
For the best dessert around, you can't go wrong with Foster Freeze in Old Town Torrance. It always takes me back to school field trips when I'd save up just to enjoy a special treat! This location stays true to tradition by offering only ice cream products—no food here. I particularly love indulging in a medium hot fudge sundae with added strawberries. This place has so many yummy ice cream and shake treats. You can get a shake or a malt or some type of Sunday. The staff is very nice, the prices are low,and the desserts are very yummy. I have come here many times,and rarely have to wait in a line. Theparking lot is small,but there is plenty of parking in downtown Torrance. It is a nice quiet area.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. The ice cream is exceptionally flavorful, creamy, and absolutely delicious. During the summer, it tends to get quite busy. I strongly recommend trying the chocolate banana milkshakes, ice cream cones, and banana sundaes – they are my personal favorites!
