we enjoyed a fantastic day on ile de re and decided to stop in ars en re for a late lunch. this was the perfect place on the small square through the church. everything in the theke looked delicious and it was! we had a...salmon wrap, a salmon bag, a tuna beuette, a tuna quizche and crack. it was all fresh and delicious, with really crispy, chewing baguettes. we ate outside under the shaded trees, and it was a nice place for a French lunch. the cakes and baked also looked amazing.
After driving for over two hours, after we parked the first thing we needed was a coffee. This was the first cafe that we came across, and in the shop were two very helpful ladies, behind a counter full of the most tempting cakes, pastries and sandwiches. Temptation got the better of us and we both had one of the home made cakes with our drinks.Sitting outside we had a lovely view of all that was going on in the square, and thoroughly enjoyed our little taste of french pattiserie!

a boulangerie with finished salads, sandwiches, paninis etc. beautiful tables and chairs outside, all set on the central square of the pretty church. it was ideal for a quick lunch stop, and we enjoyed eating in this connection recommended.

the choice in quiches, salads, croque gentleman, sandwiches and paninis, as well as excellent desserts. good value for money. service is fast and the products are fresh. the snack side offers a shaded terrace and a room inside for lunch.
raspberry and apricot pistachio tarts taken on the terrace, a feast for a reasonable price. impeccable service, I advise for a small stop at the foot of an externally original church open to visits.
sandwich and varied salad for all tastes or scholarships. bakery pastry shop very appetizing. possibility to drink a nespresso or eat good ice. Very well placed. Smiling, welcoming staff.
