The crust was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly! We ordered three small pizzas for our family to enjoy on-site and managed to finish them all. The kids loved the pepperoni pizza. We also tried the Steak Rancher and Taco pizzas. I found the choice of ranch dressing instead of a tomato-based sauce for the Steak Rancher to be unusual (as I'm not the biggest fan of ranch), but it turned out to be quite good without being overwhelming. It was an excellent option. The Taco pizza was decent, though not as impressive, yet it was loaded with toppings. We had Max's pizza for the first time tonight, and it won't be out last! We got a large sausage which comfortably fed a family of 3 with a few slices left over. The sausage is ground up, and I love that. The sauce is phenomenal, and the crust is great! The crust is thin until you get to the outside and then it is thick and chewy! The owners are the sweetest people who you can sit and talk to for hours. The price was extremely reasonable. I think we paid around $21 for our large 1 topping. Highly recommend this place!
We recently had pizza for 120 kids delivered to The Francis Howell Marching Festival. All I can say is I will be coming back here again! I don?t often leave reviews but this place is awesome. Service was fantastic and I would have to say out of all my travels this is in my top 3 of all time favorite Pizza. I can?t wait to go try other items on the menu!! Well worth the drive from home in my opinion and we are lucky to have a place like this local!!
Buffalo chicken pizza? Absolutely! I really enjoyed the pizza—it had plenty of toppings, and the dough was incredibly flavorful. I had a nice conversation with the owner, who was very pleasant. Phenomenal hand tossed pizza! I would make the argument that they are the best I've had in the area or out of it. The crust is pure perfection, as it is soft, chewy, and a touch of crisp. We had the sausage and it was covered with it. Delicious and it feels good to get food from a genuinely warm small business owning family.
I find this pizza to be quite expensive and overly soft. It's not thin enough to fold, yet not thick enough to hold its shape properly, and the crust oddly reminds me of a croissant. The ovens might need to be a bit hotter, as every time I’ve had this pizza, it seems undercooked and could really use some improvement.
I love this place. If I have a choice for food I always order from here. I work at the Sleep Inn across the street and any time a guest needs suggestions for pizza,salads etc, Max 's is always my recommendation. This is the only place you can get O 'Fallon style pizza. I HIGHLY recommend Max 's.

The pizza is always ready quickly delicious too! The prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. I?ve ordered take out numerous times since moving to OFallon. With a great experience like this, how can I say no to my son when he wants a pizza night? Lol
