Really good Italian restaurant in Milltown, NJ they have an awesome menu of less travelled pizzas plus a bevy of more conventional delicious hot and cold subs that may knock your socks off. I am a local guy and their meatball Parm sub really crushed the local pizza/sub shop offerings. Their may be a long wait on busy nights -order early! Service: Take out
We ordered take-out so no points for atmosphere. The pizza was excellent but the garden salad was uninspired with iceberg lettuce and limited other vegetables. I really like pizza, and I really like the pizza from Francesco. Great bite to the crust, with a emphasis on crispness yet still maintaining a glutenous chew. The cheese is well balanced with the sauce, which in terms of acidity is on the mellower side. I had 3 slices today and I enjoyed them all.
It's not easy living in Jersey and having to name the best pizza, but Francesco's is absolutely perfect each and every time. And I have to go out of my way to get there. Easy 5 stars. Francesco's has a variety of fresh options. I have tried their pizza and pasta with vodka sauce; both were incredible!!! I felt the environment was friendly and accommodating. Vito, the owner, also stopped by to ensure we loved the food. Wonderful experience! I would highly recommend
