Really delicious French bistro meal. It's nice to see some Belgian specialities on the menu alongside French classics as well as a specials board. Lovely restaurant service and ambience, it is lively but not loud. Michelle was an amazing waitress and gave us great explanations and recommendations.<br/ <br/ We ordered the escargots, prawn croquettes, mussels in white wine, duck breast with cherry, eye fillet with pepper sauce, carbonnade beef stew, French peas, and dessert platter.<br/ <br/ All the food was great. Beautiful French restaurant in the heart of Camberwell Been here a few times and the food is consistently good. We enjoyed the scallops and foie gras for starters on recommendation of our waitress. Both were first class. For mains it was medium rare eye fillet with a bernaise sauce. Superb. Also ordered the lamb blackstrap. There was a good debate about which meat was most tender the eye fillet or the blackstrap. Both were first class. Some shoestring fries and greens on the side completes a perfect dinner. Enjoyed a couple of bottles of French Cabernet Franc. Service was excellent start to finish. Highly recommended.
I had a craving for mussels and stumbled upon this charming French bistro in the heart of Hawthorn, and it was simply amazing. I ordered the mussels cooked in white wine and cream, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed every single bite. You can tell the food is fantastic when you find yourself wanting dessert, which is exactly what we did. It made my night, and I would definitely return again.
It's quite good! I recently stumbled upon this restaurant right in my neighborhood. I would rate the scotch fillet as one of the best steaks I've had in a long time—excellent seasoning and flavor. Simply AMAZING!… food not only delicious but with an indescriptible French flavour. LOVED the onion soup and the duck breast. The menu is full of amazing options. You need to come and try it yourself!!!!
