My husband and I had dinner 3/4/2022, made reservations for 6pm. Once sat, it took a while for our table to be greeted; we were not told of the days special(s). I noticed the table(s) sat after us were greeted more promptly told the day(s) special given bread/water upon being sat. We had my moms 82nd surprise birthday party at Fratelli?s in Alexandria on Sunday, September 26. We were able to bring in our decorations. Everything was beautiful and mom was surprised. I love the ambiience and aromas that come from this place! We had appetizers, calamari and fried mozzarella. The bread and salad were amazing. That could have been my meal! I have ordered delivery from Fratelli at least 20 times, but I have never stepped foot in the restaurant based on its curb appeal. And I don’t plan to. However, my boyfriend and I both love their food it’s high quality, consistent, and a great value. The calamari, chicken piccata, rigatoni con salsiccia, and chocolate cake are all fantastic. It will continue to be our #1 food delivery choice!
Two words.: Mozzarella Fritta. It was so delicious I saved part of it for later because I wanted it to last. I ordered through Uber Eats and I was surprised with all the extra food that came with my meal. Fresh bread and salad came with my Pollo Florentino. Just passing through and find this on Google maps. Quaint small Italian place, cozy and comfortable. Extensive menu with all things Italian. I had chicken saltimbocca that was great. It came with a side salad and choice of veggies or spaghetti. Others had fettacini Alfredo and a angel hair pasta with assorted seafood. All excellent. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Just go!
The menu has lots of delicious dishes to choose from, but the Chicken Parmesan is still one of my favorites and better than anywhere else I've tried. The all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet is back. The cost is $30 if you have a soft drink with your meal or $38 with two mimosas or sangria, including coffee and dessert. As always, the staff is so friendly and helpful.
Authentic Italian restaurant with friendly service, very reasonable prices, and carefully prepared dishes! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which I believe had a balanced flavor and texture. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes an ideal date night location, and the cannoli had the right amount of sweetness. Grazie!!
Friendly service and amazing food. The price was higher than expected, they brought us the wrong appetizer, and our entrees took a little longer than they should have, but it was still a great experience. They make their pasta fresh and you can tell. I've been here several times including once for brunch. The food and service has always been great. I consider this a hidden gem in the area. Prices may be a tad higher than other Italian places but this is worth trying.
