Sadly this will be the last time I go here. I am sitting writing this review with an upset stomach. Didn’t even eat much of the gnocchi that I ordered as it was bland and dry, it was supposed to have prawns in it, I found one, which on hindsight is probably a good thing if that’s what caused me to be ill. Although my friend had something different and she’s in the same poorly state. Another friend had fillet steak, it was way under cooked and chewy, there were no check backs. There is a very limited wine list, only dry Italian choices, I know it’s an Italian restaurant but you get other choices in Indian restaurants etc. Compared to other local Italian restaurants this one is pricey. Was in town on business and the boss wanted to take me somewhere descent , and he made a great choice I opted for seafood pizza I generally go seafood pizza or pasta and it’s a good benchmark) and hands down it’s the best seafood pizza I ever had. Lots of Octopus , squid, mussels , prawns , anchovies added extra) and other wonderful delights on a super thin base of tomato with a hint of chilli….. unreal Service was nice , not rushed, drinks flowed nicely…. There are cheaper options around the doors but I’d imagine it’s a “gotta pay for quality” situation
I was really excited to try a gluten free pizza from an Italian takeaway but was terribly disappointed. The pizza had hardly any mozzarella cheese or the toppings which was ham and pineapple. The ham that was on there was whole pieces of ham just chucked on the top. The edge of the pizza was about 2inch's away from the edge and they were too hard to eat, even the dog struggled to eat them. Wouldn't recommend or go back there. Also although the trillion Aries tart was alright I think £6.95 for a tiny slice is a total rip off.

From their delicious pasta, wood fired pizzas and friendly service (particular thanks to Italo), the cozy setting and authentic flavors make it a TOP spot for anyone craving genuine Italian food. By far our favourite Italian restaurant in Swindon, thanks again for a lovely experience.
Excellent evening with large family group. Food and presentation, as always, was perfect. Service first class. Whatever the occasion I would recommend Frattellos to make it fabulous. Staff are friendly and work hard to give everyone a happy and special time.
