I've dined here three times, and I'm eager to go back again today. The food is absolutely fantastic! I'm consistently amazed by the variety of delicious dishes they offer. I really wish they had a location in Tennessee, where I live. Yesterday, I enjoyed a wonderful meal that included potatoes, macaroni and cheese, yellow rice, black beans, roasted pork, plantains, roasted green tomatoes, corn casserole, a hot butter roll, and to top it all off, warm caramel bread pudding with ice cream. I wanted to sample everything on the menu, but it's tough to choose since there are so many tempting options. Give it a try for yourself, and I promise you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend trying the hot peach cobbler with ice cream; you can choose from butter pecan, chocolate, or vanilla flavors. Fred's Market has three locations, and if you drive a larger vehicle, there's plenty of parking available at the back of the Plant City Market. It's just a quick drive from I-4, making it super accessible.
A buffet with a lot of options in ?down home? cookin. The food is decent and the space is big. I've tried a little bit of just about everything here now and there are definitely a few really good dishes. Most could definitely use more flavor... mainly add hot sauce and it's on point. The price for my daughter and I was very reasonable but only because she's 12. Kids 12 and under eat free Monday-Thursday, so we got out at just under $20 +tip.
Beverly was our server, and she is truly outstanding! She took the time to explain everything to us since it was our first visit. She kept the empty plates off our table and had the most wonderful attitude I've experienced from a server in a long time. Thank you for a delicious meal; everything was so neat and tidy. The buffet offers delicious home-cooked food at fantastic prices, and I've never been disappointed. I always have a wonderful experience here, thanks to the friendly wait staff. The menu includes fried green tomatoes, catfish, regular fish, ribs, pork, fried chicken, and chicken dumplings, plus they serve an excellent breakfast as well. Kids eat free from Monday to Thursday!
Fred's Market is a local Southern buffet chain with locations in Central Florida. The restaurant is spacious and relatively new. The service is good, and the food is decent. The cookies are light and fluffy, and the cheese eggs are delightful; everything is both tasty and affordable. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
I wanted to mention my server, Samantha, who was fantastic. She made sure our glasses were always full and stayed on top of everything we needed. It was also a pleasure to chat with her. Great job on hiring Samantha! We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful dinner and a delightful evening overall.
Being great before, it's kind of okay now. The food wasn't very hot or fresh. Gravy had a funny smell and tasted burned. A couple next to us said the same thing. Fried chicken was boiled and dry. This place never disappoints. They serve delicious homemade Southern food and the service is outstandingly friendly. Their safety protocols and handwashing practices make buffets safe again.
