To start, we had chips and salsa, along with a spicy salsa that was quite enjoyable. We also ordered a large guacamole, but it was surprisingly small for a "large" portion. Unfortunately, we ran out of chips and had to let the guacamole sit on the table for about eight minutes, which highlighted the slow service. For my meal, I chose the combo with a burrito and quesadilla, served with rice and refried beans. The rice and beans were acceptable, but the burrito was disappointingly bland. Had lunch here with another family and were accommodated immediately. At 2pm on a Friday. The whole team was attentive and on point and we noticed. Menu was extensive. Chips and salsa were brought out immediately after being seated. One with heat and one without. We ordered chorizo dip and cheese dip as well. They were both delicious. The chorizo was a little heavy IMO more cheese with the meat like in Mexico.(save some on business end too) My lunch order of Chile Releno was a bit small compared to past experiences. If you follow Tiffany and I you know how much we love Mexican food and Tiffany’s quest to find the perfect Chile Relleno (theirs is amazing) We live in Valrico but make the trip to Tapatios because nobody does Mexican food like they do. Even better than the food is the friendly service. Everyone is happy, and willing to help so you always get fast, amazing service. I can’t recommend this place enough. As small business owners, I can appreciate all hard work and care they put into making sure their customers have the best experience. My only complaint is that I eat too much and never have enough room to tried the massive chocolate cake or fried icee cream
This family-owned and operated restaurant offers fantastic food at reasonable prices. Many of the staff are family members, which adds to their dedication and pride in their work. I've visited several times, and each experience has been delightful. The newest addition to the family, Fabian, was particularly entertaining with his sharp wit and sense of humor. This was our first visit since the remodel, and everything looks fantastic! However, I have to deduct one star because the hostess kept fiddling with her nose ring using her long fingernails while we waited. Despite that, our overall experience was positive! Our server was attentive, and our lunch was delicious. I had the Taco Salad with chicken, and my husband tried the Chimichangas. We also shared dessert, and the Fried Ice Cream was delightful!
Worst meal ever! Ate at the other restaurant with same name week ago, great food. This restaurant absolutely no taste in the food, rice and tacos at all. service was bad also. I would have given them a zero but you have to at least give them one so they got them one. I will not come back to this restaurant. And they actually made me pay for my bill and I hardly ate anything. Unbelievable!!!
Definitely was great atmosphere and the servers was very attentive and the food could use a bit more of season but was good regardless and came pretty fast too...also was a bit pack ...
Tapatio's is our favorite. The traditional Asada tacos with cilantro and onions are the best. Fresh lime and salsa on top…so good. We go there at least once a week for lunch. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We were visiting from ohio. Very good food! Clean, great food servers cooks! We will definitely go back on our next visit to Lakeland Fla!
