My fiance and I were vacationing in Tahoe with some friends and we decided to break away to have a date night here. When we made reservations we noted that it was for a date night and they sat us down at a table that was next to the window and what a view! It really set the tone for our night and made it so special. I wish I remembered our waiter's name because he was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of all night. Came here to try the food while on my visit to Tahoe, and was not disappointed. We liked each appetizer except the escargot was not as flavorful as we 'd expect. The sauce overpowers the escargot, but nonetheless tasty. We got the dozen oysters, crab and shrimp cake, escargot, baked onion soup, seafood broil, slow roasted prime rib, cowboy steak, and the mac n cheese ! The environment was dim and romantic. Great date place with a nice view above Tahoe. For an upscale restaurant; I would say the service was about average. We can tell our server was new as he would ask for help from other servers, but he kept saying I don 't know and proceeded to not help us when we asked questions throughout...
We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience! The foie gras was cooked to perfection, and the seabass was moist with a delightful crunch on the edges. The escargot and BBQ shrimp were also great, although I found the peppercorn sauce a bit too earthy for my taste. My son absolutely loved his escargot, and the airy popover added a lovely touch. It's rare to find foie gras cooked so well—most places tend to undercook it, but not here! We ordered a couple of drinks, and they were quite strong, which I appreciated. I dined alone and was seated by a window with a fantastic view, where I had one of the best waiters I've encountered in years. Ian was my server, and he had a wonderful personality. He was very attentive and made sure I was looked after throughout the evening. I opted for a light dinner, and Ian suggested the perfect shrimp and wine pairings, which truly enhanced my dining experience. I would definitely return to Friday's because of the delicious food and, in particular, because of Ian. Thank you, Ian, for making me feel like I wasn't dining alone and for being such a fantastic representative of Harrah's. Friday's could use more servers like him.

This is the best filet minion I have ever had, nobody can match it..not even Vegas! Hub and I went here on a Tuesday night. The place was BUSY..so make a reservation...even the bar was packed. We both ordered the 10 ounce filet, they used to have a 7 ounce, but now only the 10 ounce remains, so we decided to split the baked potato and have the toppings on the side. This meal was absolutely delicious, and we had a remarkable table next to the window for a beautiful view. This is a spendy restaurant, but the quality and ambience are totally worth it!!!
Fridays is THE best steakhouse. Period. Every time I'm in South Lake Tahoe I have to get my Fridays on! The filet mignon/ blacked shrimp plate is my go-to. And it never disappoints! So much flavor, I always take super small bites so I can savor every last bit! The ambiance is incredible too. The restaurant is located on the top floor of Harrahs, so the views are stunning! Especially at sunset. But be sure to make a reservation! Service is TOP NOTCH. Friendliest and most accommodating servers. I wish I could eat here every Friday night!
Excellent service food and view. Friday's used to be one the first floor and now occupies the old Summit space on the 18th floor. We had a few different appetizers: Oysters Tuna Ahi Artichoke Escargot House salad Salmon with scallops Most everything was excellent. Salmon was just good (just a tad dry) scallops excellent. Bread with butter great too! Our server Anthony was very efficient made the experience even better.
Absolutely stunning views, exceptional service, and delicious food! This steakhouse is a must-visit in Heavenly. We made reservations to enjoy the sunset over the lake, and it was breathtaking. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delectable side dishes. The fish and risotto were also fantastic. Highly recommend!

Had Christmas night dinner here with 7 people. Price was pretty high, even though we had the stuff comped. The waiters were a little inattentive or arrogant, not sure which. The fact that we spend over $100 a person, I would have expected more. Oysters were ok, but I feel the steaks were too burnt on the outside.
The food is incredible, Santos' service is formidable and the ambiance is elegant. I loved this place and I'll be back
