Was venturing home accompanied by my family down caxton street today in the extreme heat! Dying for a drink of water i walked into the Fritzenberger establishment to see if i could purchase a few bottles of water-the young man at the bar told me...that they didnt sell individual bottles of water, however before i could even blink he handed me and my family jugs of iced cold water. “Here you go guys!” Wow. Only visited this place once but it was an awesome experience. The barman was nice to talk to for a bit, he helped me out when it came to ordering. I tried a chicken and vegenfritz+, both really good. Chefs are pretty awesome, it was...busy as they do quite a lot of uber eats and one of my burger was on the pass for a couple of minutes. I didn't realize it at the time until they served me as the burger just came out of the over. See the reviews and the place is always busy so was looking forward to going. What we got was a slightly more up market version of MacDonalds or Hungry Jacks except the chips are better at HJ’s and probably some burgers. Can see why families...go there , parents can have a drink with dinner and the food won’t offend the kids but it’s a lot of money for a average burger

Burger quality is fairly average when compared to the price. We had a beef and chicken burger with the chicken burger being ok the beef burger was terrible. Location of the restaurant is good but this also means there are plenty of other options close...by. Plenty of room for improvement.
Rude waitstaff who only inform you after you have ordered to tell you they don’t accept cash. Burgers are terribly overpriced for what you get. Bet they won’t be around once jobkeeper ends.
I was informed when ordering from this restaurant that the buns are cooked in the same toaster as gluten buns. Not recommended for individuals with celiac disease.
It’s was busy before a Reds match and they seemed to be a little surprised by the amount of people that had arrived. Food was delivered quickly once ordered.

Great service and great atmosphere. First time here got a couple burgers was a good vibe. The bar staff had awesome energy making me feel very welcome.
Delicious burger and fries, all gluten-free when served on a gluten-free bun. They also offer one gluten-free beer in a bottle.
