Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. I stumbled upon this cute little deli. There's a small seating area to eat and the staff are very nice and will help you with recommendations. There's a small market area for pastas and deli meat and Italian snacks. I had the chicken pesto provolone sandwich and I made it a mombo. I had the macaroni salad and the garlic pesto potato. Honestly this was so much food it's definitely two meals for me. I will admit, the chicken was a bit dry so I wouldn't try this item again. I really liked the sides though. This place is amazing. I can't believe it took me living here for 5 years to find it (I seriously need to get out more). The meatball sandwich is on point but even better than that (for me at least) is the Sweeta Smokestack Sandwich. Every bite of that sandwich is sheer perfection in my mouth. Delicious freshly made sandwiches, salads, pastas all made in house. This place is busy for lunch and for good reason. It's a bit small because they also have snacks and take home goodies for cooking at home as well. They have tables and booths to sit at to enjoy your meal of choice. Definately one to try for sure.
4.25. Nice local deli. I went with some of my team and we had a great lunch. The person at the counter was great and was very patient as we all ordered. Our food came out in intervals and we had an array of sandwiches, pastas and pizza. Everyone was super happy and quite full by the end of our lunch. I'll be back!
I ordered from Frumentos for a retirement party and the food was delicious and the service was friendly and dependable. They even delivered my order early. I'd definitely recommend this place for catering and big gatherings. I'm giving them a solid 5 stars!!!
