The seafood dishes, especially the cheesy lobster, keep us coming back time and time again. Although the service can be slow, it is worth ordering in advance, especially for popular dishes like lobster, king crabs, mud crabs, Peking duck, and drunken chicken. During a recent visit for a belated Mother's Day celebration, the highlight was a nearly 2kg lobster prepared in two delectable ways; cheesy lobster noodles and spring onion and garlic noodles, both of which were equally delicious. Other dishes we enjoyed included salt and pepper prawns, kou shui ji (saliva chicken), jellyfish with sesame oil and green chili, and oyster omelette. It is recommended to ask the staff for unique and interesting dishes, as the typical 'Aussie' style items on the menu are not as special. A solid go to cheap eat. I live in the area and takeaway in general is expensive compared to when I lived in the western suburbs. but this place is great value. I get the black pepper beef and large fried rice for $14.l (enough for 2 people Next door at the thai resturant you would get half the food for double the price. never eaten inside, but people who do seam happy enough. basic decor, no fancy dinner date would be had here : have eaten many dishes here, but the beef and fried rice has become my standard.
We left a nearby business at 5.00pm last Wednesday and walked past Fu Lin. Decided to have an early dinner before driving home. Bitterly cold walking along Goodwood Rd. Welcomed by chef and host, genuinely friendly Simon who explained changes to menu and meal delivery due to Covid 19 restrictions. We dined in. Lovely, hot food at reasonable prices. Quick service. I absolutely love this restaurant in Adelaide for its authentic Hong Kong cuisine. The prices are very reasonable and the food is incredibly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes to suit your taste.
I love this hidden in plain sight Chinese restaurant! The service is friendly and fast (but not rushed), the menu is very big so lots to choose from, tastes delicious and fresh. I highly rate this great family owned restaurant.
Although I have never eaten here as the interior is less than appealing, I do keep coming back for take-away. They make the BEST salt pepper king prawns and every dish I have ordered has been delicious. Great value for money.
