We made a reservation a week in advance. On the day of our reservation the restaurant proceeded to modify our dinner time without our consent and followed up with a phone call AFTER. We’ve agreed to new time. 2 hours before agreed upon dinner time the restaurant called again asking for yet another change of reservation siting 4th of July . ?? . At this point I’ve asked if we should come at all and the manager said no. Do not come. This is the most bizarre experience we’ve had ever. Naturally, nobody is coming back.
First time diners. We all want to return. Service was personal. I got a call early in the day, confirming our reservation and reminding that Fuel is BYOB. Appreciated. Food was simple and delicious. Meat eaters were pleased. Vegan was pleased. I’m sorry we hadn’t discovered Fuel years ago.
The setting inside is sparse but the food and service is excellent. It would be nice if the chef would pace service a little slower. The entrees were served almost before we could finish our salads. We will definitely be back.
The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional. It's the perfect spot in the neighborhood for both dinner and lunch. And the best part is, it's BYOB, so remember to bring along your favorite bottle of wine!

This is a hole in the wall that is worth checking out. It’s BYOB. Its tiny. Food is good. Decor will improve with time. I have no idea what anything cost because the entire check came up as “misc”
I adore this charming little restaurant tucked away in a unique corner of Wilmette. The food is consistently delicious and expertly prepared, and the service is fantastic.
The dinner menu choices were excellent. The Prosciutto-wrapped Mahi Mahi was outstanding and perfectly balanced in flavor. Just remember to bring your own wine.
Great food and service. The noise level is very low, easy for conversations. And it’s a byob!!

Very cozy on a cold night. Sea bass was fabulous. Rigatoni was excellent. We’ll be back.
