Was passing through town and while waiting on someone at one of the stores we saw many people going in and out of this local restaurant, even the sheriff highly recommended it. So we went in for the special unfortunately they were out (we went in about 30 minutes before closing) so we both got a small cup of their potato soup which was highly recommended and my husband got a turkey club And I got what I think was the best patty melt I have ever eaten, the fries were hot and very good and both of us brought home half our sandwich as the amount of food was large. The fried catfish po boy at this landlocked deli was surprisingly good. The seafood gumbo was also tasty. The menu offered a nice variety of deli staples and Southern dishes. The atmosphere was slightly more upscale than anticipated for a small town deli, but it was still welcoming. The waitress was very friendly and made sure my coffee cup was always full, which I appreciated. The only downside was the large projection TV above the register, which was a bit overwhelming and distracting.
As previously mentioned, both the food and service here are outstanding. The establishment is well-maintained and offers a welcoming atmosphere. One amusing detail I noticed was the sign at the register that states there's a 4% surcharge for credit card payments. It claims that this surcharge helps keep prices affordable. This seems to be another instance of a restaurant owner looking to boost profits amid rising inflation.
The pimento cheese at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and they offer $2 beers by the bottle. Couple that with a great live band and a prime spot on the square, and you have the recipe for a fantastic Friday night in Blakely, Georgia. The service was exceptional, with an employee even coming to clear our table when we started dancing. This place deserves an extra star for their outstanding service.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a fantastic deli in a small town in south Georgia. The Reuben panini sandwich I ordered was loaded with a generous portion of the leanest corned beef I've ever had. My dining partner opted for the chicken pesto sandwich and also really enjoyed it.
Awesome place to eat. Food was hot and plentiful and delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Order was taken in timely manner. Pulled pork nachos and potato salad is out of this world. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
The food is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding. The ambiance gives off a lovely family vibe. I absolutely love it!
