Very tough ceviche mixto. I don't recommend it. It's outside of my area of expertise, but I don't know if the fish was cut properly, or maybe it was older, or I'm just not used to that type of fish, but it was very tough and hard to chew. I don't usually use a knife and fork with ceviche, but I had to cut this into tiny pieces because there were very tough bits throughout the whole fish. I didn't finish it. First time I've ever not finished ceviche. Table was sticky. They catered to a special request for no calamari, which was nice, but I waited 20 minutes for a cup of water and the refill I asked for never came at all. I'm not sure if this is a recurring event. But on Saturday we went, they had a party at 9:00. We went there for a reservation of 6:45. There were only 2-3 groups of diners, including us. They tested the music so loud for the later event. The promoter wanted to tell us about the 9:00 party. But this will happen in two hours when we were fed. We had to tell them to lower the music. What was still loud after lowering. And hard to talk. We couldn't go fast enough. The seats and the ambience were so different from the images on Opentable. Very misleading.
Fusion had somewhat decreased the quality of their food for a while, but after a few months, we decided to give it another try, and we were pleasantly surprised by the improvement! The anticuchos were perfectly cooked, with a nice pink center and tender texture. The ceviche was delightful, and my husband enjoyed his pasta dish as well. We also appreciated the good cocktails and desserts. Overall, a much better experience!
Don’t sit outside. Not much attention is paid to its cleanliness and it’s so close to the toilet. Disclaimer This was my first time trying Peruvian food, so I have no frame of reference but The Leche De Tigre was good. Would have loved it slightly less tangy but that’s just my preference. The Chicha was great! That I really enjoyed, so drink away.

The food was too expensive. Music very loud. Restaurant is not for the high price items. Seats are very unpleasant. Restaurant setting and layout not nice. Band should start at 9 a.m. and we were at 9:30 a.m. and the singers were in the bathroom. Absolutely not a good experience. I will not return
great Peruvian restaurant in san mateo, California it is probably the best Peruvian restaurant in this opposite and I was in many around. the part is large, hot and tasty. the price is reasonable and the service is excellent. the best is that they have external seats and reserve.
Our food took very long to come out. Our appetizer came out at the same time as one of our entrees and we were only a party of two. The second entree came out almost 10 minutes later.
Horrible service , we did not have a chance to try the food ,the server never went to our table .
