Vegetarian Bistro - Tisch resevieren

One of our daughters is a Vegetarian, and she really wanted to go here for her birthday dinner. The rest of us are not vegetarian, but we don't mind giving it a shot.First impressions: This place is small, I mean really small! There is no pretense though, they call themselves a Bistro, not a restaurant. Tasteful decorations too. :)At first the menu appears a little limited. My husband and I had never been here before but we were pleasantly surprised with how tasty everything we ate was. The stuffed Naan appie was delicious We also ordered the pesto vegie quesadilla and the artichoke vegie quesadilla ( my favorite) although splitting these two dishes worked out great...both were done perfectly and it was nice to try out two different tasting dishes. We also split the taco salad which was crisp, fresh and both of us enjoyed. The only complaint about this place is that the ambience is not great. It is very clean and small but it is not fancy at all. Very basic. If this doesn't bother you and you want a great vegetarian dish then this is the place to try. The bonus...

Really tasty food and a lot of varieties. Hardest part of finding a good vegetarian restaurant in Surrey is finding something other than Indian food. We had the curry anyway though, ha! This had a great mix of Indian food, salads, pastas, and even a veggie burger. It was all fresh and really good. Staff were super friendly and they asked if we were gluten free when we walked in. We're not GF but I appreciate that they asked. Only thing I would add is that they mark the vegan options.

Often when my wife and I go out to eat at a Restaurant, we feel we do eat food that compromises our commitment to healthy eating. Well now we have a found a place that falls into a more acceptable option. The food was amazing and innovative (stuffed Naan appetizer was incredible). Our youngest son, who proclaims himself a Vegan, enjoyed his time in that he had Vegan Poutine and he loved it. I recommend this place if you are looking to eat in a more healthy way. Brought my mom here for Mother's Day lunch, we started with poutine because we're classy like that and shared the veggie curry and pesto panini sandwich. All were made vegan by request (they have vegan pesto, Daiya and Earth Balance margarine!!!) and were delicious. The service was terrific too. I was disappointed their burger isn't vegan but the food we had made up for that. I look forward to visiting this place again when I'm in Surrey.

- helpful, knowledgeable staff who know the products they sell - very clean including bathrooms - generous portion sizes at reasonable price - vegetarian cuisine with lots of vegan options - plenty of parking

This place is amazing, the food was super delicious and the stuff was very friendly. Many vegan option! The whole Family loved it. My no.1 place to eat in Surrey for sure, can't wait to go back.
